Lars Tunbjörk was a Swedish photographer known for large-format color photographs of Swedish interiors and domestic spaces that reveal the psychological and social textures of everyday life. Working primarily from the 1980s onward, his work examined the relationship between inhabitants and their environments with documentary precision and psychological nuance. His photographs, often depicting modest homes and institutional spaces, transform the quotidian into subjects of sustained formal and conceptual scrutiny.
