Edgardo Giménez is an Argentine mixed-media artist whose practice combines painting, collage, and found materials to construct layered, visually dense compositions. Working since the 1960s, he has developed a distinctive approach that merges gestural abstraction with fragments of everyday objects and printed matter, creating works that operate between formalism and material archaeology. His layered surfaces and restless formal vocabulary position him within the experimental currents of post-war Latin American art.
