Jonas Suiderhoef was a Dutch printmaker specializing in engraving and etching during the Dutch Golden Age. Active in Amsterdam from the mid-seventeenth century, he produced a substantial body of reproductive prints after paintings by contemporary and earlier masters, as well as original compositions. His technical precision and commercial output made him a central figure in the dissemination of artistic imagery across Northern Europe. His prints document the aesthetic values and patronage networks of the period.
