Carrie Moyer works in large-scale acrylic on canvas, building compositions through translucent pours, hard-edged biomorphic forms, and glitter to produce dense, luminous surfaces that sit at the intersection of geometric abstraction and psychedelic opticality. The layering of these disparate material registers, fluid washes against crisp contours, gives her paintings an almost optical pressure that resists easy resolution.
