Fred S. Haines was a Canadian painter known for watercolours, oil paintings, gouaches, engravings, and prints. Based in Meaford, Ontario, he worked as a contemporary and colleague of the Group of Seven, developing a versatile practice across multiple media and printmaking techniques. His work engaged with the landscape traditions central to early twentieth-century Canadian art.
