J.C.P. Skottowe was an American photojournalist active in the mid-twentieth century who documented news and cultural events for international distribution through the Times Wide World Photos syndicate. His work circulated widely across publications and served as a primary visual record of his era's major events and social conditions. Little biographical material beyond his syndication work has been preserved in accessible archives.
