Li Huasheng was a Chinese painter from Yibin whose practice centered on traditional ink and landscape forms. After studying under the master Chen Zizhuang from 1972, he rapidly developed a command of classical brushwork and compositional principles, working primarily in Sichuan province throughout his career. His work exemplifies the continuity of literati painting traditions in late twentieth-century China.
