Louise Breslau was a Swiss painter known for intimate interior scenes and portraits rendered in a subtle, naturalistic style. Active in Paris from the 1880s onward, she worked primarily in oil on canvas, capturing domestic spaces and figures with a refined attention to light and psychological presence. Her work was exhibited at the Salon and gained recognition among European collectors and institutions during her lifetime.
