Beggar Woman

Norblin was deeply interested in the prints of Rembrandt, and most of his 118 etchings reflect this influence. Born in France, the artist arrived in Poland in 1774, founded an art school, and served as court painter. He made prints from 1774 until 1789, and returned to France in 1804.
