Princess Marie of Edinburgh, later Queen of Roumania (1875-1938)

Victoria, Princess Royal (1840, 1901) was a British draughtswoman whose practice centred on portraiture and botanical study. Daughter of Queen Victoria, she developed considerable technical skill in pencil and watercolour drawing, documenting both court subjects and natural specimens with careful observation.
