Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Anders Leonard Zorn was a Swedish printmaker and painter renowned for his virtuosic etching technique and fluid handling of light and movement. Active from the late 19th century until his death in 1920, he worked across etching, drypoint, and aquatint, capturing portrait subjects, coastal landscapes, and domestic interiors with remarkable spontaneity. His prints are distinguished by economical linework and a mastery of tonal gradation that conveys atmosphere without overworking the plate.
