Konstantin Korovin
Konstantin Korovin was a Russian painter whose Impressionist canvases of Moscow street scenes, Crimean coastlines, and theatrical subjects introduced plein-air color and loose, light-saturated brushwork to late nineteenth-century Russian art. He also designed sets and costumes for the Bolshoi Theatre and Sergei Diaghilev's productions.
