Arthur S. Mole
Arthur S. Mole was an American photographer known for large-scale human-figure compositions created during the early twentieth century. Working primarily in the 1910s and 1920s, he orchestrated hundreds of people into formations visible only from an aerial vantage point, producing prints that read as abstract geometric patterns at ground level. His work anticipated conceptual and land-based practices by several decades.
