Geyer-Raack was an interior designer, muralist, and textile designer who opened her own studio in 1924. Some of her earliest professional work involved designing textiles for DEWETEX. This early fabric stands apart for its edginess and masculinity, with columns of angular leafy branches arranged against a screenlike ground pattern. Later in her career, Geyer-Raack gained recognition for interior design work, which included creating patterns for textiles, wallpaper, and carpets.
