Kinoshita TomioWW-1957-017508
1957·Color woodblock print·Paper: 57.9 × 78 cm (22 13/16 × 30 3/4 in.); Block: 55.6 × 74.8 cm (21 15/16 × 29 1/2 in.)
<p>This print displays the artist’s signature technique of using a gouge to produce a series of parallel lines. The gray or tan hues, the only colors in an otherwise black print, make quite a different impact when one is substituted for the other.</p>
