Ralph Lundsten is a Swedish composer and electronic music pioneer born in 1936. Working primarily with synthesizers and tape composition from the 1960s onward, Lundsten helped establish electronic music as a serious compositional practice in Scandinavia during the postwar period. His work spans orchestral synthesis, ambient soundscapes, and experimental instrumental pieces that demonstrate both technical precision and exploratory range.
