Printmaking
Paolo Gioli was an Italian artist and filmmaker whose practice spanned experimental photography, cinema, and performance from the 1960s onward. Working primarily with analogue processes and often employing unconventional materials and techniques, he created works that challenged the mechanical nature of image-making itself. His investigations into light, time, and perception positioned him within the postwar European avant-garde.
