Stealing Beauty: British Design Now ICA Exhibition Catalogue in Association with Perrier-Jouet Champagne

The firm Graphic Thought Facility was originally invited to exhibit its work as part of Stealing Beauty, the first design exhibition to be held at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Instead, the designers asked to create the exhibition graphics and catalogue. The spiral binding gives the book the informal quality of a notebook. Moreover, with postcards, questionnaires, and the sponsor’s own logo (a label from a champagne bottle) bound into the book, each copy appears to be made by hand, even though they were mass produced.
