Victor Prouvé was a French painter, printmaker, and designer active across the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, he developed a distinctive approach to landscape and portraiture rooted in Symbolist aesthetics and Art Nouveau decorative principles.
