Dee Dee Halleck is an American media artist and activist working in video, film, and community-based practice since the 1960s. Her work combines documentary strategies with grassroots organizing, focusing on underrepresented voices and localized media production. Halleck has been instrumental in developing alternative distribution and exhibition models outside mainstream broadcast and gallery systems.
